Your customers may have reservations
about dealing with your business over the internet. It may be worthwhile
doing some market research to gauge their possible reaction - and
their current needs. With this information in hand, you could introduce
your ecommerce strategy withminimal resistance. Often consumers may
be hesitant to supply personal and/or financial information via the
internet because of security concerns. A recent survey found that
50 percent of Australian shoppers still rank security concerns as
the main reason they hesitate to shop online.
